I Ordered a free trial of 2 of rejuvenex's face cream products for a cost of £4.99 each. No cream has arrived, but two separate withdrawals of £144 have been taken from my account. I have tried emailing but have not heard back. This is nearly £300 pounds that I really can't afford to lose. It appeared as a pop up advert.

There is nothing else to add, perhaps you could explain why it needs to be at least 100 words.

I am used to explaining the facts succinctly without waffling. I am now writing anything to reach 100 words.

This is also beginning to feel like a scam.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $426.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Rejuvenex Pros: Effective advertising.

Rejuvenex Cons: Scam they are using.

Location: Birmingham, England

Same thing happened to me. Ordered one free sample on credit card for shipping and handling only $4.95.

Received only the free sample and the next month a charge of $89.95 posted to my credit card.

When I reported this to my credit card issuer, and they contacted merchant, a credit of $17.99 is all I got. Seems like Rejuvenex baited me to get my credit card info, and then charges again without sending any product. Be very careful in dealing with this outfit.

Very unscrupulous in my opinion.

I am going to fight this to the end. Credit card issuer can charge back this amount to merchant without approval.

Response to "get real".

If this is not a scam, perhaps you could explain the following:-

Why, when a parcel eventually arrived, was it an eye cream not a skin cream as advertised?

Why was there no invoice?

Why was there no return address supplied?

This is not a case of a scam, it is a case of improper attention to terminology used in the offer. The website for the UK offer clearly states -

"RISK FREE TRIAL JUST PAY FOR SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY*"

Risk free is not the same as "free". At the bottom of the page are the terms that state if you do not call to cancel and return your "risk free trial" supply you will be charged for it.

My advice to you is to read the details with better perusal, and not let the advert tactics that are designed to appeal to your greed.....appeal to your greed.

So I got charged $89.95 for a 1-2 oz jar of cream which I did not return? This is no reference to my greed, only to the greed of unscrupulous company who is counting on victims who do not parse sentences and will fall for their nefarious action.

You think that someone accepting a 1-2 oz sample should not see such as a free trial offer? You have no common sense.
